A piano isn't just heavy — it's awkward, fragile, and irreplaceable. Diligent Movers' piano specialists use piano boards, four-wheel dollies, climbing straps, and proper padding to relocate uprights, spinets, baby grands, and full concert grands across town or across the country. Every piano move includes climate-aware transport and full-replacement valuation as standard.

    Common questions

    Piano Moving FAQ

Will you tune the piano after delivery?+
We don't tune in-house — but we strongly recommend tuning 2–4 weeks after relocation once the instrument acclimates. We can recommend a local tuner.
Can you move a grand piano?+
Yes — baby and full concert grands. We disassemble the legs and pedal lyre, board the body, and reassemble at delivery.
    What about stairs?+
Stairs are no problem with the right crew and equipment. We disclose any stair fee at the quote, never on move day.
